In triangle with 40 degreee angle we have:

Third angle = A = 180 -40-90 = 50

In the smallest triangle with 30 degress as an angle, we have angle z which is sumpplemntry to Angle A = 50
So, z = 180-50 = 130

Therefore, in smallest triangle , 180 = 30+130+y
y = 20
So, y+x = 180
20+x = 180
x = 160

So, x = 160
