Did the colonists simply move away from Roanoke and intermarry with a local Indian Tribe? Or were the colonists instead massacred by local Indians? What do you believe, and Why do you believ it?

The story of the Lost colony is one of the most enduring mysteries of early America. The question that the colonists moved to Croatoan island and lived with Indian aur aur did the colonists achal elsewhere do not have a permanent history to it. An eminent British historian David Beers Quinn argued that majority of the colonists move North to the Chesapeake Bay and left a small party on Raonoke to await the White's return. The small continent of of colonists moved to Croatoan island in the spring of 1588 carving their messages and the main group of colonists went to the Chesapeake Bay to live with Chesapeake Indians at the principal town of Skicoak. They married the Indian there and raised families ignored of the ate of Roanoke island's party and the return of the White's.
Beers Quinn assumes that the people in Croatoan lacked the resources and this they favoured a move to South shore lf the Chesapeake Bay and believed that they will be welcomed in that community.
There are other various theories by Mc Millan and Raleigh on the lost Colony but majority of them suggest that the colonists ended up intermarrying Indians and settled there before they thought about the return of Whites.
