So option A is correct.

Explanation :

As We know vector quantities are the quantities which has both magnitude and direction for meaningful sense.

For example if we say that to displace a particle from a point by 1m ..then we will thinks “in which direction?”. by saying that the displacement of the particle is 1m its meaning is incomplete. if we say that to displace a particle from a point by 1m towards North that's makes sense.
