Answer #1

Answer: The gene is responsible for the nature of horns produced by sheep. Horns of sheep give advatage to them as well as they are a symbol of maleness. The sheep with bigger and wider horns are more likely to get a mate as they can fight with other males in a batter way. It also gives a sense of security to females. The homozygous (HH) and heterozygous (Hh) have better rates of successful reproduction as comapred to hh-homozygotes.The latter have more chances of survival in a population because of absence/less develped horns as they can look like more feminine. The HH sexual aggressivenses results in lower rates of fittness as compared to Hh or hh types.
