AIM: To determine the volume of the cylinder and find the uncertainity.
APPARATUS: Cylinder, Metal ruler, Calipers.
DESCRIPTION: The volume of the cylinder is given by the equation

r is the radius of the cylinder and h is the height.
PROCEDURE: Measure the height of the cylinder using the metal ruler and note the value in the tabular form given below. Now using the veriner calipers find the diameter of the cylinder and put the values in the table below. Calculate the radius ( diameter /2 ) and place the values in the next column.
Finally derive the volume calcualtion in the last column.
Repeat the experiment for minimum of three trials to calculate the average value of the volume of the cylinder.

All the calculation are based on the uncertainty calculation. Use the rules of uncertainty to find the absolute value of the cylinder.
