As discussed in the news presentation, McDonald's will pay $26 million to resolve claims the fast-food chain skimmed wages from some 38,000 workers at corporate-run stores across California. McDonald's violated the overtime pay law and employees were not given meal and rest breaks. Answer #1

I believe any business organization can be successful in the industry only through effective management in place. The most important management is of human resources, according to me. When a big company operating internationally on a large scale violates the rights of the employees, it not only demotivates the staff but also sets a wrong example for others to follow.

The employees of McDonald's, who work for the success of the company with dedication and commitment and have a share int he success of the company worldwide, should be valued and appreciated instead of being treated with disrespect.

Therefore, the company needs to implement new policies that would put back the lost trust of its employees in the company's management by instilling new leaders who can lead and motivate the team rather than taking advantage of them.
