Answer #1

Answer to Question 3:

1. To increase consumer awareness about this new food, Joe and Bill must promote and market mushrooms as mainstream vegetarian food, which is a very healthy option for people to consume and is fast becoming a trendy food item. They should also highlight that it is organically cultivated and good for their health if consumed regularly. That will increase customer awareness about this new food item, and more people will start to buy them more often.

2. With regards to the distribution channel for mushrooms, Joe and Bill must have a cold storage system installed in the storage facilities. Since mushrooms are perishable food items, they must be stored in a cool and dry place to maintain their quality while exporting or distributing to different areas in a country. Their quality must be maintained, which will help deliver fresh and healthy mushrooms to the consumers.
