Why am I getting this wrong? It is my belief that the hydrophilic and charged residues would be on the exterior, and they hydrophobic ones would be on the interior.

Due to hydrophobic nature of amino acid, it would be buried in the interior of a water-soluble protein.
Phe amino acid have side non polar side chain. It is hydrophobic in nature therefore it most likely be buried in the interior of a water-soluble protein.
Glycine is simple and unique amino acid.It does not have side chain but it has hydrogen atom at the place of side chain. Therefore it is hydrophobic in nature and found interior of a water soluble protein.

dihybrid....
A dihybrid female fly having a gray body and normal wings (genotype b+/b vg+/vg) is crossed to a male with black body and vestigial wings (genotype b/b vg/vg). Their offspring have phenotypes in the following numbers: Gray body, normal wings 150 Black body, vestigial wings 159 Gray body, vestigial wings 42 Black body, normal wings 39 What kind of cross is this Testcross involving...
Proteins fold in water with hydrophilic amino acids on the exterior and hydrophobic ones in the interior. The most common method of measuring amino acid hydrophobicity is partitioning between two immiscible liquid phases. Nozaki and Tanford proposed the first major hydrophobicity scale for nine amino acids. They measured the standard Gibbs free energy change of transfer of an amino acid sidechain from 100% organic phase into water at 25°C. AA(org) ---> AA(aq) IF the value for serine is -0.300 kcal/mol,...
I keep on getting the wrong answer. I am recording a 105,937.50 for the 2nd year. the answer says $129,479. Would I be able to get a thorough step by step answer in order for me to see what I am doing wrong with the Double Declining Balance Method. Thank you. **Keep getting wrong answer. Problem I am trying to solve: In each of 10 consecutive weeks, quality control inspectors sampled 88 automobile tires produced by a certain machine (880 tires in all) looking for ones that were deficient in some way. The numbers of deficient tires found in the 10 samples were: 5, 7, 6, 13, 11, 15, 7, 6, 7, 9. For the control chart for the proportion of deficient tires produced by this machine during the 10 weeks,...
