Dr. Zak developed a test to measure depression. He sampled 100 university students to take his five item test. The group of students was comprised of 30 men and 70 women. Ans: Dr. zak is using a binary scale Yes = 1, No=0: 1 Dr.zak's scale is not appropriate as for the Question "I feel depressed" If you say yes you get a survey of I and for the question "I feel happy most of day" also you get a score of I for yes. These two question are opposite in nature , so their scale should also be opposite. So, for Each Question a scale should be decided based on the response indicating depression (or) not. legg
