Provide evidence that the diversity of life evolved over time by processes of genetic change. Looking for a molecular-type answer.

There are several genetic changes occured in the diversity of life.

First reason is mutations. It affects on the population gene pool it is due to the change of DNA in one more number of chromosomes. Mutations gives the new allele and because of this there is change in genetic variations.

Point mutations occurs when there is change in single base pair in DNA.

There is also change in evolution occurs due to location change. Those leases to new population when the interbreeds occured. There is also genetic drift occurs in small group of individuals and leads to new geographically isolated regions.

There is also change in natural selection method and crossing over during meiosis and combined sperm and egg during fertilization and leads to genetic change.

Hence diversity of life evolved over time by processes of genetic change.
