I have picked Starbucks as a company because of it's brand image. Starbucks is know for quality of it's coffee and service along with ambiance it provides to the customer.

Starbucks describes its organizational culture as a culture of belonging, inclusion and diversity.

The main elements of Starbucks culture are:-

  1. Supportive and inclusive approach towards subordinates. Everyone from leadership team to branch outlet helps the employees to grow in thier career and do well for themselves and company.
  2. Starbucks employees also develop warm relationship with thier cutomers by providing quality service and thus gaining the wallet share of customers.
  3. The company also believes in maintaining transparent communication among employees which lead to better co-ordination between employees and growth of the company.
  4. The company has also introduced open forums to break the barrier of hierarchy and intoduce an open culture of work.
  5. The company also promotes diversity in the organisation and do not discriminate on race, gender, ethnicity or cultural background.

The analysis is based on feeback taken from satrbucks employees and customers who are frequent visitors of starbucks. The organisational culture of Starbucks create a distinct competitive advantage for the comapany and hence increase its sales.
