A. Yes, Gerald and Mona are involved in a social interaction as social interaction refers to a process in Psychology where one tends to mend or change their behaviour according to what the people who one interacts with say. In this case, Gerald pointed out Mona's behavior of wearing different socks after which she made sure to change it and wore matching socks the next day.
