Answer. Flower contains the reproductive organs of a plant. And pollination is only guaranteed only via the flower because pollen dispersal is done by them. When pollen gets dispersed by the wind then they get transfer from the anther to stigma and after that the pollen also called spore protrude out it's pollen tube and penetrate it through the stigma and helps in moving nucleus to the female ovary. After reaching out of nucleus inside the ovary, fusion of nucleus occurs and the resulted nucleus again divide to form more nuclei after that seed is formed and Ultimately fruit formation takes place.

So this process takes very less time to produce progeny and the spore dispersal occurs over a long distance. So the number of angiosperms keep on rising.
