The elephant is the largest land animal in the world. Elephants are wild and are found in forests of Africa, Australia, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. These animals are big in size and weight. A baby elephant weighs about 200 pounds and is 3 feet tall. They have wrinkled skin which helps them regulate their body temperature to the outer weather. They are social animals that are found in herds. They follow the rules and responsibilities and a bond can be seen between a mother elephant and baby elephant where the mother elephant teaches the baby elephant how to follow those rules and responsibilities.
