In the given reaction, addition of heat increases the rate of reaction towards forward direction ie towards right hand side.

Therefore we could say heat is a reactant.

Accordinid to Lechateliers principle addition of heat or increasing temperature shift the reaction towards right hand side in case of endothermic reaction.

In case of exothermic reaction addition of heat shift reaction towards left hand side.

Hence the given reaction is endothermic.
