What are two European musical styles whose differences are analogous to "A Night in Tunisia and Miles run the Voodoo down"?

In modern world, it has been observed that European music varied from the classical songs of the 80s to Swedish pop songs. "A Night in Tunisia" is considered as a musical composition wrote by Dizzy Gillespie and it is based on a complex ostinato bass line. It has been found that tritone substitution has been used in this music and it has mainly found in jazz. It has been illustrated that it often creat tension while solo song. On the other hand, " Miles runs the Voodoo down" is a song that consists of 12 musicians and the song was composed using woodwind instruments and three brass. Many instruments are used in this European music such as Electric piano, string bass, drums, trumpet, along with soprano saxophone. It has been observed that this music opens with a soft percussion tone and at the start, a smooth beat was used in this jazz music style.
