1) The idea behind frequency distribution is to get a summary of the distribution of the data by summarising the values and their frequencies (counts). They are mostly used for categorical data. It gives us a good idea of what kind of values dominate and which are rare.

2) Random Sampling is a common sampling method. In this method every member of a population has some chance of being selected. If all the members are equally likely to be chosen then we call it simple random sampling.
