Answer #1

Erikson's conflict works during all the stages from childhood to adulthood. As I think about it, it helps to develop a personality during all particular stages. And I firmly believe that everyone has to pass through this conflict. There are many reasons behind my this belief. In adolescence, the major conflict a child feel is the truth and mistrust. During this stage, the child is uncertain about the world they live in. Autonomy and Doubt is the next stage when the child learns some skill between 18 months to 3 years when parents allow the child to explore their limits like walking and putting shoes. Initiative vs guilt is the next stage or the conflict when a child takes initiative and parents try to stop him in order to protect. In this stage when a child is asked misadventure it resulted to feel like being a nuisance. Next stage when everyone faces this conflict is Industry vs Inferiority occurs between 5 to 12 years when a child needs to feel approval from peers. In Identity vs Role confusion, conflict children try to become more independent in a different aspect of life like carrier, relationship etc. Hence we can see how Ericson's conflicts play role.
