I'm studying "The 8088 and 8086 Microprocessors Programing, Interfacing, …"
Can anyone tell me that where will I actually apply the knowledge of this book?
I don't know why I should study on this.
Somebody said that 8086 cpu won't be produced anymore.
It is said that 8086 cpu will not be produced anymore.
So what can I use what I learned from this book to?

The purpose of studying these microprocessor 8086 and 8088 is to understand how the instruction given by the user is executed,how the process happens,how the CPU gets the input and produces the output,how the memory is organized,what are the control lines available.

First, get the pin diagram of the 8086 microprocessor and get the idea about all the functions performed by various pins. After that, study the internal structure of the microprocessors. Internal structure mainly comprises of - ALU, Control Logic, Timing Control etc.
