Basically the Internet of Things or IoT is just adding intelligence to devices, appliances like cars, smart lights embedding some sensors into the products such as lighting which enables them to directly communicate with our smartphones and other connected devices on the internet, by continuously sending data to those devices. BIg tech giant like Google has impacted a lot by the introduction of IoT. Now they can use the live data collected via Google maps to track and warn their users in case someone tries to enter restricted areas. Managing inventories has always been a challenging task for Big IT companies, but IoT can change the whole scenario by automating the real-time tracking of inventories to assure the maximum production of goods. IoT has even put an impact on the security system of Google by reducing much of the manual security tasks (like check-in's/ check-outs) and converting them into automated security systems that are connected to the Google's servers for allowing only authorized persons.
