Sample sixe (n) = 400

We know that,

UCLp = p-bar + z*P-bar (1-p-bar

Where z is the sigma control

Here z = 3

Putting everything in the formula

UCLp = 0.01 + 3* 0.01s (1-001 400

= 0.01 + 3*0.01 0.99) 400

= 0.01 + 3*0.0099 1400

= 0.01 + 3* √0.00002475

= 0.01 + 3*0.004974

= 0.01 + 0.014922

= 0.024922

= 0.0249

Hence Answer is: 0.0249

.
