According to Piaget's theory cognitive development takes place in various stages. In different stages children acquire various mental skills. A child demonstrate concrete reasoning between ages 7 to 11 years. At this age they develop a sense about concrete things. They learn to take other's point of view, sidelining their own ego. Abstract reasoning comes at later stage which is after 11 years of old. They developed logic and reasoning about different concepts and ideas.
