During the titration of the potassium ferric oxalate trihydrate with permanganate, only the oxalate is oxidized. Why is the Fe3+ ion in the compound not oxidized?

Fe+3   configuration as follows

3d5 4s0   stable configuration.

so it is hard to loose one more electron.

so Fe+3 can not oxidize further.
