Animals can be divided into endotherma and ectotherms based on how their body temperature is regulated. Endotherms maintain a constant internal body temperature, whereas ectotherms have a body temperature that is dependent on the external temperature. Fishes, amphibians and reptiles are ectotherms, whereas aves and mammals are endotherms.

Frog is an example of ectotherm, that undergoes winter sleep (hibernation) as well as summer sleep (aestivation). Hence, the given statement is True.
