a) mean = (a+b)/2

            = (70+130) / 2

            =200 / 2

           = 100

variance = (b-a)^2/12

             = (130-70)2 /12

             = 3600 / 12

             = 300

b)

Pr[x > 115] = x - b /b - a

                 = (130 - 115) /(170 - 30)

                 = 15 / 60

                 = 0.25
