Can someone answer the questions above and explain them to me
ATP synthesis is depends on the number of protons pumped and number of of protons required
When 5 protons are required for 1 ATP is synthesized
And 10 proton are pumped then 2 ATP will be synthesized per pair of reducing equivalents
Becuase 5 protons for 1ATP then how many in 10 protons , divide 10/5= 2 ATP or like this
5 protons. = . 1ATP
1 proton. =1/5 ATP
And 10 proton = 1/5(10)=10/5= 2 ATP
If 10 protons are required then 1 ATP per pair of reducing equivalents is synthesized
If 2 protons are required then 5 ATP per pair of reducing equivalents are synthesized
When 20 protons are pumped and 5 protons are required to synthesize 1 ATP
Then 4 ATP are synthesized per pair of reducing equivalents
I hope this will help you if you like it then give me a thumbs up thank you!
