Injury-prone jobs and dangerous occupations:

  1. Telecom riggers: Telecom riggers have to climb towers like 30-meters towers, 100-meter towers and factors like poor weather conditions, medical fitness, tower structures makes it highly challenging for them to work.
  2. Security guards: Though the job description looks simple, the security guards especially those who are guarding high-value offices like jewelry stores, banks, etc., are exposed to a lot of terror attacks and thieves.
  3. Firefighters: Firefighters are dangerously exposed to fire and building collapses because of which a lot of such people have lost their lives in saving others.
  4. Heavy truck drivers: Especially those who are working in developed countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh where the roads are poor the drivers are exposed to accidents, health issues due to the vibration, etc.,
  5. Confined-space workers: Construction workers especially those who are working in confined space are exposed to the poisonous or combustible environment, collapses, etc.,
  6. Electrical workers: Electricians need to be highly competent and experienced as they are exposed to electricity which is dangerous and is responsible for causing many fatal incidents.
  7. Fishermen: The fishermen are not only exposed to bad weather conditions and carnivorous fishes but those who are working in international borders are exposed to the military actions of the other nations especially when the relationship between both the nations is poor.
