Plantation Society Model is relevant to some extent in recent times in relation to the BLM in the Caribbean.Plantation Society is an another term used to describe Carrabian society and culture today.Two features of plantation society are-In a Plantation Society,Agriculture has a very significant role in the economyThis is true of the Carrabian whose main economical wealth comes from agriculture such as coffee,sugar and rice among others.And It is also a society which is characterized by much stratification where colour,wealth and education plays a very important role.Similarly in recent times Agriculture played a very important role which is essential for the living of human.Agriculture provides us food to eat and many more essential items which cant be standstill. Stratification in the society has been done on the basis of people's wealth,income and education.The individual is being discriminated on the basis of his colour,Eg People hold a stigma that a person having no or low wealth,who is illiterate as well as black in colour would be more likely to be poor people.

But in recent times people are becoming more empathetic towards all the strata of the society and treating them equally as well as helping them so it could be concluded that Plantation Societty Model is relevant to some extent but a person should not completely rely on it.
