Most of the approaches to building a high speed router architecture recommend implementing the Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) functionality in the slow path. Cite and explain some reasons why this functionality should be in the fast path and not in the slow path. (5 marks) (300 words)
Address Resolution Protocol :
Why this functionality should be in fast not in the slow path
because of the normal case execution of a convention can be
improved by decreasing the quantity of convention activity and
improving the execution of required tasks means when we send a
packet it should be in departure interface ,the switch needs to
decide the information connect or MAC of the destination IP
address. The system interface equipment of the switch to which the
packet should be saw just the tending plan of that physical
system. In this the connection level location can be transmitted
either the destination IP address or it jumps to the nearest
switch.ARP accept that the hidden system bolsters interface level
communicates and sends an enquiry to the ARP demand .it contains
the IP address. The enquiry can sends a table along the side of
active interface.simulatinously switch architecture also decide to
execute handling in faster way for two reasons : execution and
Requirement for the direct access of physical system. In this the
datagram joins the connection layer address .Ip packet can be more
fitted in a modern way and it can goes using this protocol in a
faster way.
Some switch organitors may decide to incorporate ARP handling is
the quick way rather than the modern way of the switch for
execution reasons .but ARP needs immediate
Access to the physical system .so for an instance ARP needs
ethernet.if a switch gets a datagram to an IP address it can checks
which ethernet sends an IP address .and after that it can holds the
datagram until it gets an ARP answer with the fundamental Ethernet
Address.ARP is executed in a moderate way and the datagram can be
send to the destination interface layer address and it can send it
to the CPU.The CPU starts an ARP demand once the ARP answer shows
up,the IP packet will be sent .and the CPU will refreshes the
sending tables in a line then it automatically increases the speed
when it sends packets to the destination .

1. Data management, device management and network management of IoT is crucial to data integrity and transmission. T F 2. An IoT application is a set of wireless devices that act together to perform some sensing and control function. Most applications also provide a user interface, such as a mobile app or cloud-based service. In general, each application is deployed independently of any other applications that may be operating in the area and forms its own separate, cryptographically isolated network....

Risk management in Information Security today Everyday information security professionals are bombarded with marketing messages around risk and threat management, fostering an environment in which objectives seem clear: manage risk, manage threat, stop attacks, identify attackers. These objectives aren't wrong, but they are fundamentally misleading. In this session we'll examine the state of the information security industry in order to understand how the current climate fails to address the true needs of the business. We'll use those lessons as a foundation...
Harriet And Smoking Cessation This chapter’s case study demonstrates the usefulness of the Ecological Model and its interaction with individual-focused interventions, and it also draws together information from other models discussed in the chapter. The case study is presented in segments of a life course as well as an episodic perspective of factors involved in the case. It provides a perspective of the social changes that allow individual behavior changes to succeed, while also examining some of the processes involved...
