Answer #1

The components contribute to the passive force generated by the skeletal muscle is elastic or connective components.
When a muscle is passively stretched the muscle provides resistive tension and the elastic components are non contractile and it contains muscle membranes.
This elastic component not only suits for stretching but also for recoil and it is based on time dependent.
The muscle consists of elastic components that generate the passive force in response to tensile or strain and the passive force opposed by the force of contraction.
When a tensed muscle is stretched, the passive elasticity derives from tendons and this is series elastic component.
When the passive elasticity derives from muscle membranes that comes under parallel elastic component.
Thus the components contribute to passive force generated by the skeletal muscle.
