Answer #1

Answer -Activation energy

Activation energy is a minimum amount of energy for a reaction to take place. The transition state is an unstable high energy state which is a temporary state reached after achieving activation energy. Activation energy is a kind of threshold value to which is required to kickstart a reaction. Enzymes have the ability to lower this activation energy and this is how they function in carrying out quicker reactions.
