Answer #1

1-Skeletal muscle fibers are bound together by perimysium into bundles known as fascicles which are again bundled together to form a muscle tissue.Muscle Cells(Myocytes) have numerous specialized cellular structures by which Contraction occures and hence the muscle as a whole Contracts.

2-Each muscle cell have thousands of Myofibrils that run along the whole length of Myocyte connection the cell membrane(Sarcolemma) on either end. Each myofibril has Sarcoplasmic Reticulum all around which is associated with transverse tubules.Sarcoplasmic Reticulum is very rich in Calcium ions that facilitate the contaction of muscle.

Describe the 3 primary ways that skeletal muscle cells use to regenerate (produce) ATP. For each, name and describe it, then state any advantages and disadvantages, defending your statements with facts or information that supports your statement. (hint: think in terms of speed of production, location of production within the cell, availability of specific substrates – name them, oxygen requirements, and wastes produced).

For muscle tissues found in multiple places, name AT LEAST TWO places in the body (organs, not muscle names) where it can be found. Whether...
