Answer.

There are Two types of amnesia Retrograde amnesia and Anterograde amnesia.

In Retrograde amnesia person is unable to recall past memories while in Anterograde amnesia person is unable to create or imagine new images in there brain.

The anatomical structures implicated in memory are Hippocampus which is the main part and other are Amyglada,Cerebellum and prefrontal cortex.These together implicates in memory. Amyglada creates emotions,Hippocampus processes memory and relates with recognition.Cerebellum and prefrontal cortex helps in motor learning and Procedural memory.
