Sum of observations (S)=213

Number of observations (n)=7

Hence,

Mean of distribution=S/n=213/7=30.42

Now,

Median is value of 4th observation when data is arranged in increasing order.

Median=22

And

Mode is the frequently observed observation.

Here, 18 is observed for 2 times.

Hence,

Mode=18

b.

Here Mode will be more useful because observation 18 has more chances to occur again and again.
