The main motive of OCR is to make some decisions for the welfare of the community and it ensures that covered entities do not discriminate against peoples with disabilities while making decisions for the COVID-19 Pandemic. The main reason behind such decisions of The Department’s Office for Civil Rights i.e. OCR are due to the poor health condition of country and the education sector was affected due to this corona virus. Thus these decisions are beneficial for the wellbeing of all the students’ along with staffs and families. I support the decision of OCR as it has enforced the disability Act along with age discrimination and patient protection and care Acts. According to me, all these decisions are important for minimizing the harsh effect of corona virus from the world. This decision help to assist the covid19 pandemic as according to OCR guidelines it is important for the care providers to look after the patients using modern technology and they should regularly review the health condition through zoom or Skype apps. It also consists of the policies and rules through which the health care providers can communicate and share information and data with the CDC and the family of patients. it will further help to address the emergency of COVID-19 and through this process, the OCR can easily assist the COVID-19 pandemic.
