The fully protonated structure is pka = 6.0 Н + N OH pKa = 1.82 HN HẠN H pka = 9.17 pH below its pKa, the group is protonated

(2) At pH = 2, -COOH group gets deprotonated (as it has lower pka values than 2) Hence the structure of Histidine is pH = 2 H

(5) At pH = 12, all groups get deprotonated (as all have lower pKa values than 12) Hence the structure of Histidine is pH= 12
