Ras-related C3 Botulinum Toxin Substrate 1 (RAC-1) belongs to the family of small Rho GTPases that are involved in variety of cell function. Serine threonine protein kinase-1 (PAK-1) has p21-binding domain (PBD) which binds to activated form of RAC, that is RAC-GTP. RAC activation can be assayed by affinity pull-down by PAK1-PBD and followed by western blot using anti-RAC antibody. Briefly, described in figure with the example of control and treated samples.
