Answer) E coli can ferment glucose to produce acid and gas,while proteus vulgaris ferments glucose with gas production but not lactose,Enterococcus faecalis can ferment glucose,lactose and sucrose with production of acid, Pseudomonas aeuriginosa is a non fermentor, it doesnt have the ability to ferment lactose and can oxidize glucose by glycolytic enzymes.
