Heteroplasmy is a feature of cp/mtDNA but not of nuclear DNA. Nuclear DNA are not of uniparental inheritance. Also, nuclear DNA is linear in shape while cp/mtDNA are circular in shape.

Homoplasmy is a feature shared by all the three mentioned DNAs ( nuclear, mt and cpDNA)
