Is a vaccine available for protection against this virus? • Are effective antiviral drugs available for treating infections with this virus? If so, has resistance been documented? What is the mechanism of resistance? • Are there specific disinfection or sterilization strategies recommended for dealing with this virus?

How is this virus usually identified in the laboratory? What methods or techniques are used for detection of this virus?

• In nowadays currently ther is no vaccine available for human adenovirus to us but there is one vaccine available for the US Military for type 4 & 7
• No
• Most adenovirus infections are mild and may require only care to help and relieve symptoms , such as over the counter pain medicines or fever
• No there is no more resistence has been documented
• there is no more specific disinfection or sterilization strategies recommended for dealing with this virus

Diagonosis Edit,  

Antigen detection , polymerase chain reaction assay, virus isolation and serology can be used to identify adenovirus infections. Adenovirus typing is usually accomplished by hemagglutination - inhibition and / or nuetralization with type-specific antisera.
