Answer #1

Albumin standard solution concentration is 100g/L = 100g/10^6ul (1L = 10^6ul). Final volume = 500ul 1. Working standard concentration = 20g/L = 20g/10^6ul

V1(initial volume) = ?;. S1(initial concentration)=100g/10^6ul= 10^-4g/ul;. V2 (final volume) = 500ul;. S2(final concentration)=20g/10^6ul= 2*10-5g/ul So, V1(V2*S2)/S1 =( 500*2*10^-5)/10^-4= 100ul for volume makeup volume of distilled water is = 500-100ul = 400ul

2. Working standard concentration is 40g/L = 40g/10^6ul = 4*10^-5g/ul V1=?; S1 = 10^-4g/ul; V2= 500ul; S2=4*10^-5g/ul So, V1 =( 500*4*10^-5)/10^-4 = 200ul for volume makeup volume of distilled water is = 500-200= 300ul

3. Working standard concentration is 60g/L = 60g/10^6ul = 6*10^-5g/ul V1=?; S1=10^-4g/up; V2=500ul, S2= 6*10^-5g/ul So, V1= (500*6*10^-5)/10^-4 = 300ul for volume makeup volume of distilled water is =500-300=200ul

4. Working standard concentration is 80g/L = 80g/10^6ul = 8*10^-5 g/ul V1=?; S1= 10^-4g/ul; V2= 500ul, S2= 8*10^-5g/ul So, V1= (500*8*10^-5)/10^-4 = 400ul. For volume makeup volume of distilled water is =500-400=100ul

5. Working standard concentration is 100g/L = 100g/10^6ul = 10^-4g/ul. V1=?; S1=10^-4g/ul; V2=500ul; S2=10^-4g/ul. So, V1 = (500*10^-4)/10^-4 = 500ul for volume makeup volume of distilled water is =500-500=0 ul

To prepare 500ul of each working standards of 20g/L, 40g/L, 60g/L, 80g/L and 100g/L from stock 100g/L Albumin solution required volume of Albumin standard and distilled water are given in the following images in table form and details calculation are given in previous.working standard 100g/L Alb Std. 209/2 40914 60g/L 809/4 1009/4 200 | 300 400 500 Distilled water (400 300 1 200 400 (ul)
