A psychrophile is an organism which lives in a temperature of around freezing point of water.

A psychrotroph is an organism which lives in a temperature of around 15 to 30 degrees celsius.

Psychrotrophs can be dangerous pathogen with respect to food storage because food is mainly stored in refrigerator where the temperature is around 10 to 20 degree Celsius. And these microbes grow best at this temperature. Therefore we may be thinking that our food is protected inside refrigerator, but it may contain these pathogens.
