The two symbiotic relationship between microbes and plant are:
* Mycorhizal association: The fungi is found in the symbiotic relationship with the root of higher plants. The fungal partner provides the nutrients to the plant. The fungal parter provides mainly phosphate to the plant. The plant provides shelter and food to the fungus in return. The fungus solubilise the inorganic compound into minerals and provide it to the plant.
That's why there is found mutual relationshio between plant and fungus.
* Symbiotic association with bacteria: There are many bacterias that can undergo the symbiotic association with plants. Such bacteria are either found inside the plant or in close vicinity to the plant or we can say that in the rhizoplane. The Rhizobium is the example of endosymbiotic association. Rhizobium fixes the nitrogen into ammonia and provide the nitrogen content to the plant. Plant provides shelter and food in return to the bacteria. The bacteria also solubilise the inorganic materials into mineral and in this way provides the minerals to the plant.

Microbiology: 1. Explain how you would use Robert Koch's postulates to determine that Bacterium HU220 is the causative agent of the disease XYZ. Also, explain why Koch's postulates cannot be fulfilled for some microorganisms. 2. Discuss the role of phages in bacterial pathogenesis. 3. The complement system functions as a mediator of both innate and adaptive host defense mechanisms. Given your knowledge of host-defense system, discuss the role played by the complement system in both adaptive and innate immunity, 4....
Welcome to our plant sciences department here at TransBiol It's great to have you as an intern. I'm the lead scientist of a team developing new herbicides to use against invasive plant species. The team has been really swamped with work, so it'll be great to have some help analyzing all the data we're collecting. Since it's your first day, a great way to get started with any research project is to brush up on the background knowledge you'll need...
Bio 121
I need to make (yeast fermentation) lab
report.
This is the lab experiment and results:
This is a guide to making the lab report:
General Biology BIO121 Yeast Fermentation Lab Introduction Organisms stay alive by the utilization of energy through metabolism. The energy acquiring pathways in photosynthesis convert radiant energy from the sun into the chemical bond energy of carbohydrates. This photosynthetic process is limited to the producers or autotrophs, which include plants, photosynthetic bacteria and some protists....
