I know Cyclostoma = jawless,
Gnathostoma = jawed, petromyzonida = jawless and myxinoidea =
jawless. But can you please help me with the relationship between
the two cladograms? Thank you in advance!
Question
The two cladogram represent show two different type of evolutionary relationship between three group of organism. According to the first tree,
"petromyzonida and myxinoidea are more closely related to each other" as compare to third group which is myxinoidea. This is because the petromyzonida and myxinoidea share most common recent ancestor.
But, according to the second tree,
"petromyzonidae and gnasthostoma are more closely related to each other as compare to myxinodae. This is because pteromyzonida and myxinodea are more closely related.
Therefore, the two cladograms are showing two different type of evolutionary or phylogenetic information. First tree, make more sense because petromyzonidae and myxinodea are jawlesss organism, so they are more closely related as compare to gnasthostoms which are jawed animals.
I know Cyclostoma = jawless, Gnathostoma = jawed, petromyzonida = jawless and myxinoidea = jawless. But...
Two cladograms (A and B) are presented which show the
possible relationship of the Cyclostomata and the
Gnathostomata.
Please, present the appropriate arguments for these two
phylogenetic arrangements showing the relationships to the
Cephalaspidomorphi and the Pteraspidomorphi.
Petromyzonida Myxinoidea Gnathostomata Petromyzonida Gnathostomata Myxinoidea

Can somebody please explain the difference between the catalytic triads of trypsin and chemotrypsin? I know that chemotrypsin is a Ser protease while trypsin is an Asp protease but what does that mean more specifically. I tried looking up structures for both of the triads and found that they both contain Ser195, His57 and Asp102 and they are connected in the same manner too. I am really confused between the differences, please help. Thank you
