Average growth of plants per plot in 2 months = 98 - 23 = 75 plants/ m2

Average growth of plants in each month = 75÷2 = 37.5 plants/ m2

Average growth of plants after 5 months of growing season = 37.5 × 5 = 187.5 plants/ m2
