We would expect to find the NKCC channel on the epical side of the epithelial cells lining the thick ascending limb of the loop of Henle.

Na-K-Cl cotransporter resides at the epical surface of the epithelial cells of thick ascending limb of loop of Henle to collect excess Na+, K+, Cl- ions in the epithelial cells for osmoreguation.
