Life cycle assessment is a tool by which product's impact on the environment throughout its life is evaluated. In the context of recycling and reuse it helps to determine waste reduction, recycling or reusing. LCA is associated with whole building system from cradle to grave means where it starts and where it ends. LCA is a tool which is for comparison and not absolute evaluation, thats why helping decision makers and compare all major environmental impacts when choosing between alternative courses of action.
