Answer #1

Ans- 29 The letter that shows the immune complexes is C.

Ans- 30 This is a example of type III hypersensitivity. This occurs when immune complexes are not properly cleaved by immune cells. This causes their accumulation. The smaller immune complexes which do not bind to tissue are formed due to excess of antigen. These small complexes are not cleaved into circulation. These complexes are bound to the sites of intermediate immune complexes. Large complexes also present in hypersensitivity III which are cleared by macrophages. Complexes which are not removed remain deposited in the tissues causing several diseases like arthritis, nephritis etc

Ans-31 Neutrophils migrate to this area because due to embedding of the immune complexes , a inflammatory reaction is proceeded which causes the activation of complement system(C3a and C5a.)This inflammation causes tissue injury and complement system activate certain molecules that causes influx of neutrophils to these sites . These cells try to destroy amd eat the harmful immune complexes but could not since they embedded in the tissue. Due to their failure to engulf, they releases lysosomal enzymes, prostaglandins to destroy the harmful complexes which also hamrs the tissue layer as well.
