Answer 1: Co2 production is yeast is quite high because its main catabolic process is fermentation where glucose molecule not fully convert into co2 and water. but it convert into ethanol and co2 and less energy generated. so rate of respiration is quite high in terms of co2 production.

2. Table sugar is made up of two type of monosaccharides: glucose and fructose and the concentration is 1:1, respectively.

3. Lactose is made up of galactose and glucose in the concentration 1:1.
