Answer #1

Huntington's disease is autosomal dominant disorder.

Affected person = HH + Hh = 1/10000 = 0.0001

Normal person = hh = 1 - 0.0001 = 0.9999

Chances that a person is affected = 0.0001

Chances that both the persons in a couple are affected = 0.0001 × 0.0001 = 10^-8

Answer is 10^-8.
